Still no word...

Well, 3 months has now come and gone and still no word from immigration on our approval for the adoption. I am getting a little concerned. I am praying it will come any day now. I am so ready to start the next step of the process and it is so difficult waiting 3 months for one little piece of paper!

Braves Game

We took the kids to the Braves Game yesterday and had a great time. No, we did not stay for all 17 innings, but did stay for 15. I thought it would never end. I love baseball but not after 17 innings. All 4 of us were on the "big screen" which was really cool. Olivia thinks Chipper Jones is "cute" which was funny and scary all at once. We had great seats but got even closer once the game went into extra innings and the place started clearing out. It was raining soooo hard when we first got there, it always rains when we go to a game, but ended up being blue sky and perfect by the time the game started. It was nice just spending some time with each other and the kids after a very busy 4th weekend.

Happy Birthday Paw Paw!

We had a big party today to celebrate my Paw Paw's (grandfather's) 70th birthday! It was really nice and I got to see family I had not seen in a while. I do not think he was surprised, I think he figured something was up, but I knew it meant a lot to him. He has always been a big part of my life and someone I look up to. He loves his grandkids and great grandkids and has always made sure to spend time with each of them. Austin and Paw Paw will get in deep conversations for hours and Olivia adores him. Love you Paw Paw, Happy Birthday!
